Army Barracks is a unique Army/Navy retail store open to the public. While specializing in military surplus, camping, survival and tactical gear, as well as airsoft guns and accessories we sell so much more. Offering a large variety of mens, women’s and children’s clothing, headwear, boots, gloves, backpacks, knives, swords and many novelty items.

We are passionate about creating a memorable shopping experience that customers will want to return to and share.

Ideal candidates for the FULL TIME MANAGEMENT position should have the following characteristics and qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 plus years of retail store management experience with a proven, successful track record in assisting management or management , preferably in specialty retail

· Metric-driven: achieving store and company goals

· Sales focused while engaging guests in creating a fun, memorable working environment

· Prior success in recruiting, hiring and developing teams to high level of success

· Models professional and personal integrity

· Balances the appropriate levels of warmth and dominance in his/her management style

· Accountable for results; takes pride and ownership of store operations

· Attention to detail; Able to plan ahead while being flexible and adaptable in an ever changing retail envirnment

· Passionate, ambitious and success oriented.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.

· Open availability (including weekends) to meet the needs of the business and maintain a 40-hour five-day work week – Schedule: Store schedule Mon-Sun 10am-6pm – Shifts: 8 hour shifts. Open to close, split shifts on Friday’s
Weekly day range: Shifts may vary but always include one weekend shift 2 for busier seasons
