What you will do :

• Reporting directly to the Thomas Ranch Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate will hit the ground running, implementing expertise in marketing administration, analytics, copywriting, and social media, across all applicable platforms.
• This is a unique Austin-based job opportunity for a hungry, self-starting creative to develop into multi-faceted marketer, working within a team of highly motivated and talented professionals.

Core Responsibilities :

• Create and manage content for an approved social media strategy including graphics and copy in compliance with our brand and style guidelines
• Assist with newsletter management author content and manage email distribution
• Provide support with event logistics, budgets and invoicing, and analytical reporting
• Collaborate on initiative ideation, collateral creation, and sales support

Ideal Candidates Are / Have :

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A stickler for grammar, brand compliance, and accuracy in messaging
• A superb social media community manager with a high level of taste and an impeccable eye for design
• Excellent track record of understanding the big picture and rolling up their sleeves to get stuff done well
• Ability to handle tight deadlines
• A true love of Austin, design, and big ideas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field
• 3 to 7 years Marketing / Communications experience
• Real Estate, Development, or Hospitality experience highly desirable
• Proficiency with Social Media Content Scheduler (i.e., Planoly)
• Competence with video capture and editing
• Proficiency in paid social ads on Meta’s platforms placement and insight analysis
• Knowledge of SEO, algorithm strategy, and media trafficking
• Aptitude with either Photoshop or InDesign, preferably both
