Aquent is hiring a Social Media Marketing Associate responsible for supporting our clients’ Collectible Social Marketing Team and assisting with managing the brand’s overall social strategy. Additionally, the Social Associate will work directly with the Social Media Lead to develop original content and leverage earned content to help drive brand awareness and consideration.
A typical day for a Social Media Marketing Associate includes: flexing your creative and strategic chops by assisting with social activations across platforms such as Instagram, Reddit, TikTok & Twitch, managing influencer collaborations, and campaigns, strengthening brand partnerships, and driving creative briefings.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, influencer marketing, and content creation. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic, innovative, creative and personable individual who is highly involved and passionate about the exciting world of social media! Additionally, this role will be firmly rooted in the collectibles community – passions for any of the following collectibles categories would be preferred: sports trading cards, sports memorabilia, collectible card games (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, MetaZoo, etc.), comics, vinyl, FUNKO, and other collectibles.
The duties and responsibilities include:
Partner with Social Media Lead to define measurable goals and set benchmarks; deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
Assist with managing the social media content calendar and operational tasks
Develop a deep understanding of the client’s social media audience and collaborate with content producers to continually improve engagement
Deep social media expertise in establishing channel best practices
Responsive and proactive planner; be able to lead content creators in the development of efficient assets to meet the speed of business
Ideate and concept content that meets creative and paid media standard methodologies for priority social channels and lead production of all assets
Solid understanding of the nuances of the social channels and how to adapt and improve content per channel
Ability to see across video and stills to tell stories and drive action
Respect for customer needs and the ability to connect cultural moments and offerings to those needs.
Extremely process and results-driven – constantly strive to optimize for speed and impact
Partner with community managers across all platforms, promoting positive brand conversations, cultivating engagement, and addressing complaints
Work cross-functionally with all internal teams to identify new opportunities to evolve the social media strategy – including exclusive social promotions, live event coverage, and social-first campaign launches
Manage the collection, curation, and integration of user-generated content on social media
Stays current with social platform tech and trend developments and standard methodologies to push innovative concepts and test/learn campaigns
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
2-5 years of commensurate experience
Demonstrated passion for Social Media
Experience in communicating and presenting to various stakeholders and audiences
Aptitude for being organized with flexibility and agility to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, verbal, and creative acumen
Professionalism and strong work ethic
Comfortable with a varied set of software (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite) and ability to learn new tools quickly
Positive, can-do attitude!
