Job Description

Ideal Candidate must have:

• Education / Experience required:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study.
• Other skills required: two (2) or more years of experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury/cash management or similar role.
• Ability to create various financial models including 5-year model, 13-week cashflow, 3 statement models etc.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, vlookup functions, etc.).
• Ability to anticipate potential questions and issues and influence senior management decisions.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, and term strategic planning.
• Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on writing skills; an ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently with high attention towards detail.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work and to adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to process information quickly and recommend creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with manufacturing companies.

Candidate must have the ability to:

• Coordinate with various departments to build annual budgets, forecasts and summarize actual results versus plan.
• Support accountability for financial business results to budget and forecast.
• Build and maintain the corporate financial model.
• Produce key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard and reporting capabilities that drive actionable business insights.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for APS management; including utilizing APS systems to run queries to report data for meaningful reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Oversees cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term investing and borrowing, wire payments, fraud prevention, bank account setup and maintenance, bank system/access maintenance, and bank relationship management.
• Create proforma models and prepare projections to support in consultation on financial impact of acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate capital structure changes.
• Prepare and consolidate materials for business reviews and presentations to management.
• Assist other departments in recording and analyzing financial data.
• Perform other financial reporting needs and assist with special projects, as required.
• Make recommendations to promote strong internal controls, increase efficiency and enable growth.
