Description American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Finance to under the supervision of a Director, conduct quantitative analyses of investment programs or financial records and analyze valuation of business(es) to present to management. Perform specific financial analysis, providing key insights for leaders/ business unit(s), and place the company’s performance in a broader industry and competitive context. Conduct financial analyses to include implications on current plans and forecasts and longer-term considerations for American Express. Perform ad-hoc analyses to be shared with management, assessing key drivers of business performance across American Express. Position Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with financial analysis and forecasting experience on a global or international scale. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with financial systems, including TM1 and Oracle; 1 year of experience analyzing business requirements, consumer behavior, and industry trends, and reporting on results to senior leadership and business unit partners; 1 year of experience translating complex finance concepts into actionable insights for presentation to business leaders for decision-making; 1 year of experience with waterfall analysis, fee calculations, and capital distributions; 1 year of experience with internal financial control improvements, including automating existing manual processes; 1 year of experience with analyzing investment portfolio performance, reviewing general ledgers, and building models and templates for complex finance allocation processes; and 1 year of experience with working on economic analysis in the credit card industry. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.
