We are looking for an Marketing Communications Specialist in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This person would be responsible to- Initiate, execute, and support the role and activities of the Marketing Communications Department in the areas of content writing, digital marketing, project management, and marketing administrative support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Initiate, execute, and support the role and activities of the Marketing Communications Department in the areas of content writing, digital marketing, project management, and marketing administrative support.

• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing programs.
• Prepare collateral and other marketing aids, including internal training documents, PowerPoint presentations, and sales sheets.
• Maintain company SharePoint site.
• Create and distribute external email communications and internal company newsletter.
• Work with sales and service teams to develop marketing campaigns and programs.
• Maintain company website with product updates and changes, upcoming events, and Blog posts / articles.
• Assist in creating new branch / divisional, product, and corporate literature.
• Maintain promotional products and sales staff catalogs.
• Assist in lead generation and qualification process using CRM system.
• Create and schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube). Maintain post calendar with topics and dates.
• Assist in the creation of sales and service testimonials.
• Assist in tradeshow preparations.
• Participate in the creation of company video projects.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience :

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external staff.
• General understanding of different marketing and advertising outlets.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
