Job Description:

• This role is an opportunity to develop deep, cohesive financial analysis and messaging for our internal and external stakeholders as well as work alongside top senior leaders in the organization
• Collect and synthesize financial data to provide key takeaways and variance/trend analysis. Support the analysis of macro, industry and company specific drivers of life insurance and wealth management financial performance
• ​Support the creation of presentation materials (PowerPoint, Think-Cell) for key stakeholders, including data visualization and storytelling as well as consistency in data and formatting across materials
• Work collaboratively in partnership with several other teams at MassMutual, primarily Controllers, Actuarial, Strategic Finance Business Partners, broader FP&A, Corporate Communications, and Executive leadership

Skills:   

• Experience in finance and/or accounting
• Data analytics expertise: ability to code in SQL or other languages would be a plus but not necessary
• Ability to summarize and clearly articulate complex issues, synthesize key points and effectively communicate findings
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of financial presentation and data tools
• Detail-oriented with demonstrated verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Education:
• BA, BS in business, economics, finance, accounting or actuarial science
