AWS Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Networking Finance FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Networking and broader Infrastructure Finance team supporting key capex investment decisions and developing controllership around Planning and Reporting Networking capex.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter who dives deep into data to find the root cause of problems and support thoughtful decision-making, is able to build scalable processes, is detail oriented and has the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. The candidate will be working closely with business finance teams and senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure and will be leading end to end processes and discussions around key planning and reporting cycles.
Key job responsibilities
1) Lead the month end activities for Network Finance including variance analysis versus forecast and work closely with Network Finance and Infrastructure FP&A to develop the analysis
2) Represent Network Finance in key meetings for Month/Quarter end with Infra leadership
3) Lead the forecasting cycles (Quarterly and Annual), develop robust plans and bridging scenarios working with Finance business partners and present those in leadership meetings
4) Lead the Monthly Business Review for Network Capex with the leadership including ownership of document, key data tables, and pre reviews
5) Lead process improvements and automation across Network Finance to deliver long-term system-based solutions and collaborating with BIE and DE team members on our team to deliver automation that eliminate manual effort and improve controllership.
6) Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc financial analyses, financial modeling
7) Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple teams with competing priorities.
