The Alaska Primary Care Association’s mission is to create healthy communities by supporting vibrant and effective Community Health Centers in Alaska. Our headquarters in Anchorage is the heart of operations for our Training & Technical Assistance, Health Policy & Workforce Development Teams, aptly supported by our Administration team. Position Summary:This position is responsible to perform under the direction of the Director of Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA). The Community Health Center Finance Consultant will provide CHC Executive Directors, staff and Boards with CHC management and finance-related training and technical assistance. This position will assist CHCs with improving financial performance, increasing financial oversight, supporting grants management activities, improving compliance with HRSA grant requirements, promoting sustainability, improving reporting, increasing capacity to use data meaningfully and achieving organizational quality excellence. The Community Health Center Finance works with other APCA staff and contractors and acts as a liaison to appropriate financial and management services for health center managers and leaders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Exercised: NoneLanguage Skills:Fluency in written and spoken English required.Travel Required:In-city travel to community sites, meetings, and outreach locations. In-state travel required. Some out-of-state travel may also be required.
