Position Background
The CFO will provide the company with analytical support, operational insight, and judgment to profitably grow the business. He/she will help set the bar for overall financial performance improvement and strategic direction of the company, serving as an effective, energetic, compassionate, and empowered voice on the senior team on all strategic decisions. The CFO will serve as a key driver to
help position the company to grow EBITDA partnering with the executive team to build business cases for investment and link to ROI and EBITDA. The CFO will take the lead to identify opportunities to drive margin while closely monitoring operating expenses and cash flow. The CFO will also take a lead role in evaluating acquisition opportunities and provide analytical leadership for ACP’s de novo growth strategy.
Reporting directly into the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for the following:
• Lead Financial, Treasury, Audit, and Tax functions to define and meet the business objectives and implement performance metrics so he/she can deliver imperatives that enable the company to achieve its long-range goals.
• Establish that effective internal controls are in place and assures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws, including GAAP, and rules for financial and tax reporting.

• Direct leadership responsibility over the largely Medicaid-based Revenue Cycle Function, which is lead by a new RCM Director.
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation. Existing Controller oversees the Accounting function and will report directly to the CFO.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
• Motivate and support finance, payroll and accounting teams with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
• Lead financial systems integration and serve as a strategic partner in financial due diligence for future M&A deals leads financial integration plans and achievement of determined proforma synergy objectives.
• Exercise effective management control regarding revenues, expenses, resource utilization, capital expenditures, cash flows, ROI analyses for capital budgeting, and return to shareholders. Drive timely closings of each monthly financial period.
• Ensure the finance function yields quality, timely, and reliable financial information for management and board (e.g., TTM EBITDA, 13-week cash flow forecasting, rolling 12-month forecast, etc.)
• Improve budgeting process with templates and rationale for spending that are transparent to the team.
• Build high-trust relationships with debt and equity holders by providing proactive, open, and transparent in stakeholder communication, preparing defect-free certificates, and reporting packages for lenders, and managing covenant compliance and communications proactively.
• Deliver timely, accurate and standardized financial reports to the senior team, investors, and other stakeholders as well as detailed, monthly Management Discussion & Analysis reports for the Board.
• Drive ad-hoc analysis to assist in make key decisions for the company.
A Bachelor’s degree in finance or business-related curriculum is required. An MBA, and/or CPA and other advanced degrees or certifications are preferred but not required.
Business Acumen and Judgement
• An FP&A skilled CFO, where prior CFO experience, third-party insurance provider reimbursment and strong ties to Atlanta, GA are preferred
