Position Summary:
This position is located at the City Centre, Houston, TX.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, AMI is looking to hire an experienced, entrepreneurial, and energetic Senior Manager, Operations Finance to lead the company’s operations finance function.
This role is a proactive business partner to the SVP, Operations, and the CFO to provide hands-on leadership for the company’s 4 plant sites.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates plant accounting and finance operations
- Strong analytical mindset to identify performance trends
- Serves as the FP&A voice of Operations when articulating plant performance to the executive team
- Motivated to understand how we make material and use that knowledge to drive business results
- Demonstrates leadership and aptitude for coaching and growing their team
- Lead efforts to continually improve ERP processes and drive simplification
Job Requirements and Skill Sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with enterprise level general ledger. Exposure to Infor Syteline ERP a plus
