An Investment real estate company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Tax/Accounting and Investment Manager to join their team in WEST Los Angeles, CA. This position is responsible for completing Tax & Accounting operations including support of investment opportunities. Must have Corporation Tax Return, Audit work experience with over 5 years of accountant experience at Big 4 or top-tier CPA Firm. This is a full-time, exempt position with excellent benefits. Bilingual Japanese/English Tax/Accounting and Investment Manager Duties:

• Handle for corporate tax return including extension and estimate payment
• Recording transactions on the accounting system, cash disbursements
• Handle monthly-end adjustment entries as necessary, monthly bank reconciliation, monthly, quarterly financial analysis & Report to Tokyo HQ
• Tax provision, quarterly financial reporting packages, external audit procedures (agreed-upon), Internal audit procedures
• Support of investment opportunities for Industry/market research, preparing reports, developing new investment opportunities by attending related conferences, perform financial and operational analysis of potential targets
• Instruction to the external partner (tax/accounting service provider), financial and operational analysis based on communication with affiliate companies, discussion with the external advisor, auditor, and Tokyo HQ

Bilingual Japanese/English Tax/Accounting and Investment Manager Duties:

• Must speak, read and write Japanese language skill
• 5+ years or more of accountant experience at Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA a plus
• US Tax experience a plus
• 3+ years or more of M&A experience a plus
• Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills with external specialists such as tax/accounting advisors and auditors.
• Knowledge of overall business and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures, profitability and return on investment modeling and general economic modeling.
• Proficient Internet PC skills and with Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel & PowerPoint)

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
