The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administrative, financial and risk-management operations of the company. You will have had experience at CFO level of a US listed company with experience in all necessary auditing and reporting requirements, as well as experience participating in presentations with investors.
Responsibilities
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced
Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
Participate in conference calls with the investment community
Ensuring the companies adhere to GAAP/IFRS and SEC regulations.This involves monitoring changes in financial reporting regulations, assessing their impact on the company, and implementing necessary changes to remain compliant.
Experience in the field of corporate fundraising.
Oversee the annual and quarterly audit process for the companies.
Providing timely financial statements, reports and filings as required by the SEC.
Qualifications
Experience as CFO of a US public listed company
Experience in all necessary auditing and reporting requirements
Experience participating in presentations with investors
Experience growing a company from $300 million to $3 billion and beyond in value
MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS , SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
Strong understanding of Sox , internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software (e.g., Wetsuit, Gravity…).
