Who we’re looking for
The Accounting and Finance (A&F) department is looking for an innovative and versatile manager to lead initiatives and projects in Accounting – Accounting and Finance ERP and Transformation Manager.
This role will be responsible for leading and successfully delivering transformation projects in assigned areas within A&F.
This role is an opportunity to bring together your business/analytical skills, project management skills, and a solid understanding of technical tools and capabilities to transform processes with the goal of reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, making the department more agile, and freeing up Accountants time to focus on value-add activities including supporting various Enterprise level initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
Build relationships with business teams to understand their functional areas and work closely to implement improvement initiatives.
Lead implementation of prioritized projects by thoroughly understanding end-to-end as-is processes from back-end data sources, and data transformations to front-end deliverables and design and implement solutions to streamline the process using a combination of process improvements and automation.
Partner with the developer(s) to support the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Partner with SOX and the business teams to ensure that the new processes meet compliance requirements.
Partner with Enterprise Data Supply department and IT teams to use various technical tools such as relational databases, RPA tools, and third-party Accounting applications to design the final solution.
Conduct backlog and sprint planning sessions and manage the day-to-day project activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Support adoption of new processes through training and raising awareness about the benefits to business team members.
Communicate with business team leaders and FAST senior managers on the project milestones and status.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
Accounting/Finance Operations experience with an aptitude for systems, data, and process improvement.
Demonstrable understanding of databases, automation tools, and ERP systems.
Experience in understanding and documenting business requirements for process improvement and/or system integration.
Ability to communicate with business teams and technology teams.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects with different stakeholders.
Added bonus if you have
Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
Prior experience with database development and report development is preferred.
Managerial experience is preferred.
Experience in large-scale implementation or conversion of accounting processes and/or systems is preferred.
