Kelly is seeing a Plant Finance Business Partner to work with our client, a large global industrial technology leader, on a direct hire basis. Effectively communicate financial results to non-financial professionals
Facilitate strategic and tactical initiatives to support and achieve strategic objectives
Supports and challenges the business in ensuring that the chosen business actions are aligned to the strategy and are protecting, growing and optimizing the assets of the company;
Drive improved operational results and efficiency
Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and future financial performance
Develop and maintain business partner relationships across functions and regions
Respond to customers in a timely fashion
Share expertise and experience to support stakeholders on effective financial management processes
Facilitate an openly communicative environment
Develop forecasting and planning processes as needed so that key inputs are considered
Support Business Unit leadership in the completion of the annual budget cycle and achievement of operating targets
Conduct other financial analysis and reporting as needed
Actively participate in month end financial close
Assist Shared Services and Corporate Accounting to estimate appropriate accruals
Prepare detailed analysis of operational and financial data, trend analysis, and key financial metrics
Provide guidance on remediation and corrective action plans
Support analytics for Labor and Non-Labor Benchmarking activities
Support Business Leadership in cost management initiatives
Guide Business Leaders in adoption and understanding of finance policies, guidelines, requirements, and standard operating procedures
Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Finance or Accounting preferred
MBA with a focus in finance preferred but not required
5+ years of related finance experience including in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
Extensive experience in the manufacturing field is required
Experience with SAP desirable but not required
Excellent attention to detail, customer service orientation, and timely follow through
Ability to interface with business leaders outside of accounting/finance and comfort presenting to senior leaders of the organization
Strong analytical skills (ability to recognize and resolve issues)
Strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing abilities
High energy and self-motivated person
Adept at owning and leading cross functional meetings
