creation and posting, cash management, budget variance reviews, and
consolidated financial pack creation for ownership group
Collaborate with production, sales, and leadership teams to ensure proper
allocation of production job costs (e.g. materials, labor, and outside services)
to enable organizational understanding of the true cost of production (aka
forensic accounting)
Identify and implement new processes/tactics cross functionally to reduce the
time and effort needed to complete financial transactions and reconciliation
Accountable for payroll administration, commission management, and AR and
AP activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are taken care of from a financial
standpoint
Support the budget development process through analysis of costs and trends
and creation of projections
Coordinate all internal and external year-end audit, investor distributions, and
tax preparation activities
Supervise AR and AP staff and develop functions as needed
TRS is a small fast-growing company, and folks wear multiple hats. As a result,
you’ll have the ability to support in additional areas such as managing key
initiatives depending on your specific skill set and interests
Skills and Competencies
College degree in relevant field preferred
Manufacturing, Heavy Industrial Service/Repair, or Construction Job Cost
Accounting Experience Required.
Computer skills/expertise:
Ability to work with minimal supervision
