Job Overview
The Chief Financial Officer is an executive role that provides a unified vision and leadership for global financial and accounting operations, encompassing a set of consolidated entities with multi-country and multi-currency business requirements. The position reports to the CEO and is a member of the senior executive team.
The CFO is directly responsible for global accounting practices, corporate compliance, treasury, banking, tax (including international strategy), audit, financial technology platforms, and management of the finance and accounting team, which includes a shared services accounting center located in India and led by the Global Controller. Indirectly, the CFO must effectively collaborate with and influence other functional groups, including HR and Sales & Marketing, to set financial and non-financial goals, act as a check-and-balance on spending priorities and policies that impact financial results, and make course corrections when needed to achieve financial goals.
