Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Record journal entries and adjustments as needed. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable transactions, including verification of invoices and timely payments.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. Monitor and analyze cash flow to ensure proper funding for operational needs.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and variance analysis. Generate and distribute internal financial statements to relevant stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support the preparation of financial information for audits and assist in audit processes.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to gather information for budgeting and forecasting. Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
