Description:
• Review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP ASC 606.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain deferred revenue schedules.
• Maintain records for monthly close including account analysis, account reconciliation and completion of assigned rollforward schedules.
• Identify and lead efforts to implement processes and controls related to the revenue recognition cycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed records which document procedures, methodologies, and sources of information
• Act as the corporate subject matter expert on revenue recognition.
• Effectively communicate work product (both oral and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization. Answer to any questions that may arise regarding the data and/or analytical methods and assumptions used to build the work product.
• Work with internal and external auditors on quarterly and year-end audits, providing requested items to auditors in a timely manner.
• Provide support to Controller and Accounting Supervisor regarding ad hoc data and reporting needs.
• Work in partnership with the deal desk to establish and maintain controls surrounding product pricing and discounts

• Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals.
• Effective influencer and thought leader to help drive key business decisions and initiatives by partnering closely across teams and functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA preferred
• Previous experience on an audit team with a focus on revenue recognition for a publicly held company is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
