About the role
We are currently looking for an analytical, collaborative and organized FP&A Manager to join our dynamic, high-growth skincare company. The FP&A Manager will provide analytical and financial support to drive business strategy and optimize decision making across all business units at Naturium. As a member of a lean finance team at a dynamic company, you will have a significant opportunity to run with projects that directly support the Leadership Team as they make decisions based, in part, on your analysis and input. You will also have the opportunity to continue to develop and enhance the company’s corporate financial model by working with various business units to analyze and understand key drivers. This position will be based in either our West Hollywood or Oakland corporate headquarters which is currently open in a hybrid model.
Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
· Lead the company’s annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-term planning and cash flow management processes.
· Prepare actual vs budget reporting of the financial data at both the functional department and sales channel level to review with stakeholders.
· Analyze and synthesize sales data to inform forward looking projections.
· Work closely with the business partners to support their initiatives and manage related expense forecasts.
· Partner closely with the Accounting team during monthly and quarterly closes, driving cross-team processes to maintain and improve the predictability of financial results.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
· Initiate processes and streamline existing processes for efficiency and to sustain future growth of enterprise.
· Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Requirements:
· B.S./B.A. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent; MBA a plus.
• 3 years of experience in Consumer Products or Retail, with public accounting experience required.
• CPA is a plus with 3+ years of audit experience from a global or national CPA firm
• Experience in a consumer products company or retailer dealing with trade spending a plus
• Inventory experience a plus
• Excellent knowledge and application of US GAAP
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong project management skills
• Direct experience with Accounting ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP), and Bill.com
