Job Description : Marketing Specialist (Contractor)
Responsibilities
Project Management Actively participate in the development of marketing and promotional materials for projects currently in process.
Share progress weekly with internal business partners. Work in project management tool to ensure projects remain on task and deadline.
Asset Management Keep track of all files in the Asset Master document, where they are located across various platforms, and if they are currently active.
Ensure documents are added to the necessary locations working with internal teams as needed.
Manage Owned Brands Compass Page Perform updates as needed to content and contact information, provide recommendations to improve traffic and user friendliness, and ensure all documents are added to each page correctly.
Promo Items Work closely with Marketing Manager and Category Manager to execute necessary promo merchandise. Assist in design ideation, coordinate with internal and external vendor partners on timing, costs, and options.
Submit creative through project management system.
Document Prep Work with Marketing Manager and Category Manager, as needed, to prep documents for the design team. Includes drafting projects in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint;
transferring data from PDFs into the necessary format; and other tasks as needed.
Merchandising Work closely with Marketing Manager for in store fixtures, signage, merch, and support. Identify areas of opportunity to promote Owned Brands and work with internal and external partners on solution, costs, and execution.
Where appropriate, draft ideas and submit for creative through project management system.
Product Artwork Support Marketing Manager and Category Manager to ensure product artwork is being executed accurately and timely.
Support creation of spec sheets, sell sheets, catalogs, and other marketing collateral as needed.
Communications Work with Marketing Manager and Category Manager to identify topics to be shared in internal newsletters and webinars.
Write communications and prepare presentations. Submit communications through the necessary platforms in a timely manner.
Work with internal partners as needed to adjust timing of Owned Brands communications to support priorities.
Experience
2-3 years working in a professional environment.
Bachelor s Degree
Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail is a must
Organized, self-motivated, ability to adapt to changing business needs
Strong project management experience and use of a project management tool, Wrike preferred
Experience in B2B or manufacturing company preferred
Additional Job Requirements : Initial 5 month contract but could extend for up to an additional 2 months.
