DUTIES: Responsible for preparing, examining or analyzing client’s tax reports, accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports for clients using various accounting and statistical tools, to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; conducting tax issue research and advising clients on best accounting practices for the specific industry of the client; analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advices to clients in US and international tax laws; reporting to client’s management regarding the finances of establishment; evaluating, developing, implementing, modifying, and examining client’s document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology; preparing documentation for company policies and procedures for strengthening clients’ internal controls and compliance, preparing and implementing documentation that expounds on the company specific financial policies and procedures (i.e. Revenue Recognition Policy, Accounts Receivable Policy, Benefits Eligibility Policy, Capitalization Policy, Business Expense Policy, Financial Controls, Fixed Assets Policy, Investment Policies, Purchasing Policies Sales Compensation Plans, etc.); establishing tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts, prepare and review the account reconciliations and prepare journal entries for clients; computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements; advising clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans; developing, maintaining and analyzing budget, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs; providing external auditing services for corporate clients and cooperate with clients’ internal auditors and finance manager to conduct annual financial audit; preparing financial and board packages, drawing charts and graphs, using computer spreadsheets to illustrate technical reports; conducting budget/forecast financial modeling and analysis of financial information; and reviewing and analyzing financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance purposes using various statistical and accounting tools.
SALARY RANGE: $110,000-$120,000/year, depending upon experience
