This position is a key finance contributor to the Finance team and is a critical business partner, ensuring necessary financial rigor and analytics are effectively in place for the businesses’ decision-making process. The person who is best suited to this role will be a self-starter and a seasoned financial analyst who can independently perform complex decision-support activities.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to thoroughly understand overall business unit performance
Drive reporting efficiency by developing and maintaining systematic and sustainable financial models and tools for use in weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance explanations of actual results vs. plan and vs. prior year
Develop and regularly update cost tracking models
Create timely, accurate and consistent management reporting
Assist in the preparation of studies, reports, and financial models in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and business forecasts
Provide financial leadership to the Integrated Business Planning process
Identify opportunities to improve data integrity and usefulness for effective management reporting and analysis
Utilize existing systems (Oracle OPM, OBIA, and GL Wand) to mine data and analyze complex financial information
Proactively identify improvement opportunities within the business and focus management on most critical risks and opportunities
Perform ad-hoc research and analysis as needed
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree or better in Finance or other Business-related degree preferred
6
years’ relevant professional finance experience preferred
Prior experience utilizing Supply Chain financial information preferred
Experience at a manufacturing company preferred
