L3Harris is looking for a Finance Lead to join the Tactical Communications Sector in a critical and strategic Business Development Finance role supporting the front-end of the business in securing $2B+ of orders.
Essential Functions
Influence and shape the development of the financial structure of proposals including the pricing strategy and profitability of strategic USG bids and proposals (B&P) with key pursuit stakeholders (e.g. Senior & Executive Leadership; Sales; Program Management etc).
Lead the analysis of the financial structure of proposals, product plans or business plans including risks and opportunities as well as any required investments. As required, lead the development of a business case to emphasize the future growth, return potential and strategic alignment a proposal and/or required investment introduces to the Sector.
Shape concise and impactful financial analysis and messaging while presenting the bid financial of recommended pricing strategy to Senior & Executive leadership throughout the Sector and as required, the Segment.
Become an integral finance lead within an internal, cross-functional pursuit team of Program Management, Major Proposals, Sales, Contract Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain in support of key business pursuits/programs.
Support all finance aspects of the proposal response efforts including the preparation of proposal price workbooks.
Provide financial leadership & guidance throughout customer negotiations to drive toward price agreement and shape financial terms towards L3H preferred terms (T&Cs).
Ensure compliance to FAR, DFAR and our Sector Estimating System for all USG bids and proposals as well as lead cost sweeps and certifications as required.
Identify and lead implementation of process improvements to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.

Business acquisition/B&P exposure; Accounting, particularly revenue recognition exposure
Articulate with excellent verbal and communication skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $82,500 – $146,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
