We are seeking a talented and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team at Benovia Winery; as a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing effective and measurable marketing strategies to promote our winery and drive business growth.

Responsibilities :
Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, and drive sales.
Create and manage compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events, to reach and engage target audiences.
Collaborate with the DTC team and Wine Maker to create sales support materials and tools that effectively communicate our brand story, product features, and benefits.
Provides support to wholesale in the creation of any needed marketing materials.
Actively manage and increase customer engagement via the winery’s online presence, including website content, current and newly emerging social media platforms, and targeted email marketing campaigns.
Monitor and proactively act on marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback, to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
Plan and execute offsite events, tastings, and promotional activities to engage customers and foster brand loyalty; this includes virtual, local, and out-of-state events.
Play a critical supporting role with all onsite events at the winery, including promotion on social media, email campaigns, and print advertising, as well as RSVP tracking, email invitations, and the creation of visually stunning and memorable print items.
Liaison and coordinate with our retained PR firm that maintains relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry partners to secure press coverage and strategic partnerships.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, wine, and hospitality.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify key market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in the wine industry.
Manage, organize, and curatorial work of all of our digital assets, including photography, blogs, videos, logos, and product sheets.
May also work with the vineyard owner and winemakers to set product prices, determine release dates and identify which markets to sell to.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
Possess outstanding communication skills and attention to detail with excellent writing skills.
Strong background in social media and digital marketing.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and sensitivity to the consumer journey and identifies opportunities to influence it.
Possess versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably within the wine or beverage industry.
Has a strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
Possess a strong understanding of Google Analytics and an extensive experience with Office 365, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proficient in digital marketing techniques, including social media management, SEO, email marketing, and content creation;
experience with TikTok and Instagram preferred.
Proficient with Ecommerce and email marketing platforms, Commerce7 and Mailchimp preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Creative thinker and skilled writer passionate about storytelling and developing innovative marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of wine production, varietals, and wine-tasting principles is preferred.
Perform regular market audits and analysis of market information to determine how well marketing strategies are performing.
Prepare an annual promotional calendar.
Oversee the design of promotional materials and ensure that the brand is always correctly represented.
Coordinate marketing efforts with retained PR firm.
Represent the company at trade events and other public appearances, “public face” of the winery, and promote the winery at various events.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 to 5 years of winery marketing experience or experience in a related industry; available to travel
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to travel nationally
