Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for financial forecasting and planning, executive reporting, and financial advisory and analytics. FP&A also leads various firm-wide initiatives and provides a broad spectrum of executive management support.
About this Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst. This role’s is responsible for cross-enterprise coordination, analysis and preparation of Financial planning, forecasting and business insights. Primary objective being to provide executive management and the board of directors with information to manage financial performance, the ability to assess effectiveness of the firm’s strategic plans and information needed for internal and external communications.
In this role, you will:
Assist in the development/advancement of financial analytics and insights to improve the performance of lines of business and functions across Wells Fargo
Support senior management on performance-related projects
Develop and produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide financial insights on company financial performance and drivers to support decision making
Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
Coordinate, collaborate and consult with partners and peers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Partners include LOB/function Finance, ALM, Expense Analytics and Allocations, Capital, Credit, Tax and others
Provide direction and mentorship to team members, coordinate forecast process tasks
Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Develop and execute effective internal controls while maintaining process efficiencies
Required Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting or equivalent
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to research, analyze, and explain complex issues in a clear and succinct manner
Advanced knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and forecasting methods/processes
Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) skills
Advanced Essbase and SmartView experience
Experience with PowerBI and Alteryx
Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Project management and supervisory experience
Pay Range
$111,100.00 – $197,500.00 Annual
