Overview :
The Consulting Manager is both an experienced Marketing Automation practitioner and People Management professional. They will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and scaling 12-15 marketing production and / or consulting personnel into a high-performing consulting team.
The Marketing Consulting Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer experience is optimized by maturing both the hard and soft consulting skills of their team to continually deliver excellent and impactful solutions that exceed client expectations.

People Management :

Ensure employees represent the company as a trusted advisor with our clients and assist them, when necessary, to help make key decisions while delivering excellent services.
Retention : Employees who feel valued and know that the company has their best interest in mind, will usually retain themselves.
It will be your responsibility to establish proactive processes to mitigate any operational issues or concerns and to effectively communicate any concerns to the appropriate parties (leadership team, human resources, employee, etc.
Communication is key as a primarily remote organization. You will be the first or second point of contact for client or employee escalations.
Communicate successes or escalation concerns and partner with team members to figure out the appropriate path to resolve any concern for the employee and our customers.
Goal Management : Develop a thorough understanding of the goals of the organization. Manage and implement strategies and processes to drive execution of goals / expectations to assigned team members to ensure success and accountability.
Resourcing Management :
Optimization : Work with CSMs and PMs in providing proactive guidance on gaps / needs while ensuring available staff is optimally assigned and utilized according to the business needs and skills alignment.
Leverage analytics tools in balancing allocation and utilization and recommend effective processes to resolve any identifiable issues with the leadership team in advance.
Consulting Services :
Manage and understand the roadmap for project portfolio deliverables and milestones. Partner with Customer Success Managers or Project Manager team to ensure success.
Effectively communicate, mitigate risks, implement solutions, take corrective actions, keep all parties informed while maintaining expectation of excellence.
Advisor : Function as a trusted advisor for internal business partners, as well as our clients. Manage deadlines and enable clear, concise communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and craft meaningful projects that move the needle for the organization and benefit our employee’s development as well as our clients’ needs
Partner cross functionally across Managers, and Teams to ensure the successful delivery and management of projects.
What you must have :
4+ years professional experience in marketing automation (Marketo preferred), 3+ years of people management of up to 6 Direct Reports
Passion for managing teams and supporting the growth and development of others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate and demonstrate confidence and emotional intelligence to team members and leadership, in the organization and with our clients.
Strong history of building relationships across organizations and clientele with a diplomatic, solutions-oriented approach to decision-making and communication
Highly analytical, with a track record of being a strong problem solver
Presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for the business
Ability to see the big picture and to focus on details when necessary
Strong technical skills and experienced in tools such as MS Office, G-Suite, Salesforce.
Pay / Rate Range : $ 115,000 – $140,000
