Description
The Financial Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in maintaining the financial responsibilities of Operation Mend. You will ensure grant financial and regulatory compliance, manage contracts and subawards. Responsible to independently manage administrative and grant/fiscal aspects of awarded projects, which require knowledge of sponsor, institutional and departmental requirements, ability to interpret sponsor requirements, and competency in addressing all the in-house systems and departments (Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, and Accounts Receivable). The incumbent will oversee business/financial aspects of post-award activities including execution of subcontracts, financial expenditures, and fund closeouts. You will review, recommend, and implement administrative and organizational policies to maximize efficiencies.
Salary Range: $81,500 – $192,500Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years in related work experience.
Requires knowledge of business, finance, accounting, and grant administration.
Requires ability to independently create, analyze and manipulate complex spreadsheets.
Extensive knowledge of computerized software programs: Microsoft Excel/Access/Work/Power Point.
Requires excellent verbal, analytical/quantitative, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and at times hectic environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Problem solving, and organization skills.
Ability to make decisions quickly and independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, and to prioritize work.
Skill in keeping accurate and timely records.
Ability to work well with a team, as well as independently.
Working knowledge of behavioral health and medical terminology.
Ability to work independently and report to supervisors and leadership on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
