APPOINTMENT TYPE: Full-Time Regular (FTR)
LOCATION: Oak Ridge, TN (Hybrid)
SALARY RANGE: $89,960 to $125,123
PURPOSE:
To serve as an Accountant 4 in the Controller’s Office, and support the ORAU Controller on all financial, accounting, and operational issues. This includes compiling the monthly corporate financial statements, coordinating the ORAU Capital Accounting process, monitoring, monitoring and reporting Corporate Investments by working with the Investment Oversight Board (IOB), supporting the annual external audit, researching significant accounting issues for organizational financial impact, and supporting other financial requests both internally and externally.
To support all aspects of the Oracle Projects Module to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial system processes during month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, data verifications and validations, exception reporting, and cost allocations. Responsible for supporting and monitoring the ORACLE project module functional set-up including cost structure and auto accounting rules.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 9-13 years of job-related experience. Must have significant experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and the ability perform complex financial and systems analysis to identify problems and determine solutions. Must be able identify areas for process improvement and assist and or lead the implementation of new or revised policies and procedures.
*The candidate’s starting salary will be determined upon hire and ORAU will use salary survey data, internal comparators, and the candidate’s qualifications to determine salary.
