The strategic finance manager’s priority is to develop a deep understanding of the business and actively seek out opportunities to drive profitability over the long term. Collaboration amongst all associates is important and a great emphasis is placed on the leadership team. This role includes responsibilities for all functions that involve cash moving in or out of the business. The essence is to create information that will be used to make good decisions. Reporting is a critical element of the role and must be handled with extreme integrity.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Guidance/Direction:
· Work directly with the President and the leadership team to provide guiding financial insights, stability and direction for the organization.
· Attend monthly leadership meetings and provide data for analysis, discussion and strategic business decisions.
· Work with the President to identify and implement projects that will maximize profitability.
· Analyze and provide recommendations about monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, for the company overall as well as for the custom solutions business.
· Participate in (and at times lead) the development and implementation/execution of the company strategic plan. Initiate, track and manage various projects as related to this strategic plan.
Accounting/Reporting:
· Pull/collect data required for internal analysis, as well as for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for corporate. Report said data to corporate in a timely manner.
· Oversee:
o Monthly sales tax reporting for accuracy and compliance.
o Monthly bank reconciliations and perform transaction audits monthly.
o Accurate W9 record keeping and 1099 annual reporting.
· Lead a small team of associates responsible for accounting, purchasing, AR/AP, etc.
· Create annual and multi-annual projections. Update these quarterly as the year progresses and identify/recommend adjustments as needed in order to maintain desired gross and net margins.
· Create budgets and work with each team lead/manager/director to manage these budgets.
· Collect and maintain a current asset list for each branch. Maintain depreciation schedules and entries into SAP as needed for accurate financial reporting.
Data Collection/Graphing/Reporting/Budgeting for Strategic Direction:
· Write queries in SAP to pull data of interest and track said data for analysis.
· Pull data and analyze profitability for various metrics: Customer Specific, Market Specific, Product Line Specific, etc.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education:
· 4 year accounting or finance degree required
· CPA Preferred
· Manufacturing experience required
