JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Manager maintains the accounting operations of PHS, Inc. to include General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables. This position assists the CFO/ Finance Director with financial planning, budgets, forecasting, reporting and in other related areas. The Finance Manager is responsible for reporting grants and budget variances. This position directly supervises Accountants and Clerks positions in the Corporate Office, whose functions include but are not limited to processing payables, receivables and payroll. Also, managing and reconciling grants and general ledger.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
Current/valid License: N/A
Experience: 5-7 years of Accounting experience (Payroll, Budgeting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger).
Must have at least 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience. Advanced computer skills required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
While PHS has a diverse patient population (Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric), the Finance Manager works closely with the employees of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computers. May require lifting of up to 25 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires normal vision range. Work is performed in an office environment. Consistent contact with internal staff and external clients/vendors.
IMMUNIZATIONS
Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
