Great Plains Communications is growing! We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to fill the position of Accounting Manager. This position can be hybrid remote after on-boarding and training is completed in our Blair, NE office.
This position will be responsible for:
Managing tax reporting for the Company and its subsidiaries, including, but not limited to, payroll taxes, income taxes, sales/use taxes, personal property taxes, real estate taxes, city, county, and state taxes. Manages property accounting (including both Fixed Assets and Inventory) and purchasing for all GPC companies. Works with Controller for month, quarter, and year-end close activities with assigned responsibilities for company entries, accruals, review, and close processes. Performs personnel activities for direct reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years tax, fixed asset and inventory accounting, and supervisory experience M&A integration experience desired.
