This role is the Sales Finance Mass Channel Manager for the Quaker Foods and Snacks (QFS) team. This includes being the key finance contact for the Walmart QFS team as well as supporting one direct report for the Target QFS team. The Finance Manager will provide overall support for the period end results, preparation of forecasts, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), along with financial analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Provide insightful analysis of customer performance to a broad range of senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and business-improving recommendations
Communicate periodic results to Sales and Business Unit (BU), identifying drivers of variances, potential risks and opportunities, and assessment of YTD trade balances including formal quarterly liability reviews
Lead the periodic forecast process providing clear guidance to and collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying key business drivers, gaining alignment with Sales and Sales Finance leadership, and communicating key insights to the BU
Partner with Field Sales and BU Sales Strategy to lead the AOP process providing thought leadership on the growth-driver based build, summarizing and communicating the build to stakeholders both informally and via formal decks, understanding gaps to BU targets, and recommending creative solutions towards closing any gaps
Work with cross-functional teams on miscellaneous projects including but not limited to customer pricing, category strategy, and innovation opportunities
Identify opportunities for process simplification and consistently focus on the most critical priorities
Manage one direct report (Target QFS Sr. Finance Analyst): hire, develop, and retain top-tier finance professionals through appropriate training, thought leadership, timely feedback, and mentoring

Qualifications / Requirements
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
MBA preferred, CPA is a plus
Work Experience:
7 – 10 years of practical exposure, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control
Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement etc.)
Skills & Capabilities:
Experience with forecasting and budgeting
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
Strong influencing skills
Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% of the time

Compensation and Benefits
Expected base hourly pay range is between $115,000 – $132,000 salary for this role
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual starting pay
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation (3 weeks), sick, and bereavement
