*This is not a remote position. This role will be located in (preferred order): Overland Park, KS; Frisco, TX; or Bellevue, WA.
The Finance Manager leverages problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively measure performance, identify trends, and present thoughtful recommendations to guide strategic and operational decisions.
This role works cross-functionally, uses data from various internal sources to perform analysis to gain insights and define areas of opportunity for T-Mobile.
The Finance Manager communicates recommendations in a clear and concise manner and collaborates across teams to influence change and shape business growth.
Responsibilities
Measure key performance indicators and benchmarking results across accounts, markets, business units, and channels and communicate results to leadership via dashboards and s
Work internally and with strategic partners to ensure processes and procedures are in place for proper controls and audits
Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
Translate analysis into meaningful business insights. Build potential options and actionable recommendations around those insights to drive strategic decisions.
Construct executive-level presentations, crafting a strategic story out of the numbers to present findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner.
Influence leadership through fact-based analysis.
Build processes to improve efficiency in gathering data and help identify areas of opportunity across business areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics or related field
Master’s/Advance degree preferred. MBA in Finance, Strategy or Economics
7-10 Years’ experience in Analytics and Financial Planning
2-4 Years’ Wireless Telecom or Equivalent Experience.
Experience With SAP/BPC/TM1 preferred, but not necessary
Strong communication skills:
Ability to synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual, and verbal communications. Ability to articulate rationale and present in front of senior leaders required.
Critical Thinking:
Ability to think out of the box and question the status quo
Cross-functional engagement: Ability to engage others and understand what information/data is needed to achieve goals required.

T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
