Required:
5-7 years with BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of trends in healthcare delivery system, the provision of care, and other emerging issues in healthcare management. Advanced working knowledge of general accounting standards and practices, business operations, profit and loss statements, and budgeting. Professional experience, business acumen, and integrity to effectively serve and represent the department. Ability to independently research, collect, and analyze data and present in organized format to accomplish desired outcome. Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, OMB-21 and other. Ability to resolve problems using quantitative/qualitative methodologies and strategies. Demonstrated interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with administrators, faculty, staff, vendors and other constituencies inside and outside of the organization. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to utilize online financial and personnel data systems and applications. Demonstrated ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize workload and that of others to meet deadlines, with competing priorities and high-volume workloads in a complex environment. Experience in creating, implementing, administering, and maintaining automated business and financial systems Strong financial planning and forecasting skills. Experience with financial planning and forecasting. Demonstrated skill in developing financial reports, spreadsheets, graphs and other management reporting and presentation formats utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software applications. Extensive financial and budget management experience in a complex cost accounting environment. Proven personnel management strength, including demonstrated ability to select, motivate, develop, evaluate performance, discipline, and promote collaborative team efforts.
