Labcorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a highly experienced Financial Manager . Labcorp specializes in diagnostics, drug development, and technology-enabled solutions to improve health and improve lives.
Recently Labcorp embarked on a strategic partnership with a large healthcare organization, one of the leading nonprofit health systems in the United States.
This has expanded the reach of our clinical services in the Midwest, South and Northeast U.S. by assuming management of 95 hospital-based laboratories across 10 states.
As we work to strengthen laboratory stewardship and provide high-quality, high-value, innovative and responsive laboratory services, we would like to announce an opening for a Financial Manager in Tampa, FL for a newly created Division.
This new Division is part of Labcorp’s Diagnostics business segment.

Responsibilities :
Develop annual budget, monthly financial forecasts and monthly estimates for P&L for the Division and Regions.
Complete variance analysis of business performance and comparative monthly, quarterly and year to date results.
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, margin, expenses and capital expenditures.
Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Regions.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly business review and forecast packages and ad-hoc analysis.
Work closely with the leadership team while developing forecasts, budgets as well as various business opportunities including projects, alliances and joint ventures.
Be a business partner to the operational leaders, providing analytical insights and recommendations to improve and streamline business, including revenue growth, cost optimizations and business processes.
Prepare financial models for various business projects to support new investments, strategic and other business decisions.
Ensure financial close deliverables are completed timely and accurately.
Review existing processes and procedures to develop and implement recommendations for improvements.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field with 5-7 years of experience.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and monthly management financial reporting.
Prior experience in developing advanced financial modeling including margin & revenue analytics.
Ability to build financial analyses and financial statements for various business arrangements, alliances and joint ventures.
Experience to develop meaningful ad-hoc financial analysis with analytics, business insights and recommendations.
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify variations and trends, spot business opportunities, develop practical recommendations and drive implementation with the business leaders.
Solid accounting knowledge including full financial statement understanding and analysis skills.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on analysis and process improvement.
Highly responsive with sense of urgency to provide accurate deliverables under tight time pressure.
Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
Proficient in Hyperion, Essbase, Tableau, Power BI and ERP systems. Advance experience in Excel is essential.
