About this role:
The Manager, IT PMO leads the process of planning, organizing and delineating responsibility for the completion of an organizations’ specific information technology (IT) goals. He/She leads the team responsible for ensuring the Development, Infrastructure, IT Security and IT Operations teams, business stakeholders, vendors and consultants navigate through all phases of the project lifecycle in order to meet business requirements. He/She is responsible for the successful delivery of the expected deliverables, within planned budget and timelines for all IT projects and programs. This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for Program and Project Management.
Maintains the IT Strategic Blueprint and its alignment with future business expectations
Responsible for the creation of requests for approval of new Projects to be reviewed by Senior Management
Responsible for the planning, organizing and completion of IT projects and programs designed to meet the business goals
Balances multiple projects and deployment schedules to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.
Documents project requirements, deliverables, budget, and deadlines and facilitates conversations between stakeholders and IT to collaborate on creative delivery solutions to address potential impacts by intentional or unexpected changes in any of the above
Drive the decision making process amongst stakeholders, ensuring project needs and solution options are presented and understood
Identifies, measures, and monitors customer or business needs in order to create solutions, make decisions and take appropriate actions.
Serve as a primary problem solver for any issues, roadblocks, and risks
Able to proactively identify issues before they become risks and facilitate discussions with SMEs to identify options and impacts of each
This role will oversee direct reports and contract resources performing Project Management and Business Analysis
Coach and mentor team members
Ensure adherence to current project and program methodology and all IT Policies while influencing best practices, process improvements, procedures and meeting business goals
Experience developing team members to grow into more advanced roles and to aid succession planning
Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Review, Career Development, Succession Planning, Salary Administration, Training, Staffing, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, BIT or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
