Position Summary
This is an unprecedented opportunity for an experienced accounting expert to serve in a senior finance role for two of the preeminent health-focused non-profits in Montana. The financial manager will be employed by Montana Healthcare Foundation (MHCF) and will report to the operations director of MHCF. The person in this position will serve as the financial manager for both MHCF and Montana Public Health Institute (MTPHI) and devote approximately 50% time to each organization. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations and decisions of each organization. Key areas of responsibility include financial and cost analysis of existing and planned programs, investment portfolio reporting, federal grant management, financial planning, audit, and tax support. Both organizations highly value careful, accurate, and compliant accounting and reporting. This position works with multiple stakeholders, including other organizational leadership and boards, staff, and consultants. It is important this person has the right blend of accounting, analytical, and people skills. As part of the operations staff, this position will contribute to achieving the organizations’ strategic visions and goals.

Wage $100,000-$125,000 DOE, competitive benefits package.
