Position Summary:
Responsible for obtaining stakeholder buy-in, creating training programs, and planning communication regarding ongoing improvements. As a leader on Convergint’s Organizational Change Management Team (OCM), the Change Manager makes it happen; they drive adoption of the changes. The Change Manager will develop and implement strategies and plans which maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes. Additionally, the Change Manager will implement processes and plans to minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes. The goal is to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees who must use the changes in their daily work. The Change Manager will consult Convergint on benefits and risk of changes and track how improvements increase benefit realization, value creation, and ROI.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop training, communication and leadership engagement strategies and tactical plans; integrate with project management office (if applicable) and consulting on project deadlines.
Identify internal and external key stakeholders to analyze requirements and define support structure to drive end-user adoption.
Perform change assessments and ensure communication and training plans effectively support implementation of business technology changes across Convergint.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to help them understand systemic issues, getting feedback and support for improvement initiatives
Consult Convergint IT Team by prioritizing change requests and facilitating gap analyses
Define training roadmaps, track the preparation of learning training materials, and conduct end-user training
Design a communications plan and manage the appropriate and timely communications to drive adoption
Define, measure, and report success metrics
Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to team; share best practices and lessons learned.
Grow change advocacy within the broader organization, helping establish champion/change agent networks across Convergint to promote the use of business technology tools and adoption of change during implementation projects
Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer’s first choice for service.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience related to change management, project management, performance benchmarking and metrics, communications, and/or training activities for enterprise-wide technology deployment
3+ years of management experience, including _____ years of experience in Operations, Technology, or large-scale change management.
Demonstrated understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Demonstrated aptitude for developing written communications and training materials and translating technical, systems-focused information into approachable content for end-users
Demonstrated presentation skills – comfortable leading presentations and discussions
Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
