EnerMech Mechanical Services, Inc. is a provider of Electrical & Instrument Construction, Maintenance and Capital Project Solutions within the Industrial Division of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Automation, with an ever expanding workforce of both Direct Hire Craft and Professional Staff.
Position: The General Manager with EnerMech Mechanical Services, Inc. is responsible for all operations within the Semi-Conductor division and is the primary reporting manager for all workshop and field/project personnel. Responsible for allocating personnel and equipment to projects; is empowered to make Operations related decisions on behalf of EnerMech up to the level approved within the company’s approval matrix. With commercial and contractual responsibilities at the project/operations level.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Uphold and enforce company’s safety policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Ensure all staff on site are adequately advised and trained in the company’s QHSE procedures, and possess the appropriate qualifications, experience and training for the tasks they perform.
· Management tasks to include:
· Client Management:
o Manage and develop customer relationships
o Develop strategies to better deliver services
o Foster and grow existing contracts
o Support business development and tenders in preparing tender documents and technical information
· Overseeing of Administration including:
o Timesheets / Documents / Procurement / Reporting.
o On time billing and billing reconciliation.
o Document submittals to client; and
· Overseeing of Project Management and site activities including:
o Submission of documents and coding of documents.
o Submission of Work Method Statements and Risk Assessments; and
o Schedule monitoring and performance monitoring both of Project Managers and Engineers to their tasks – and Field Supervisors, Technicians and trades to their scheduled tasks for completion.
· Overseeing of offsite support and coordination with Senior Management, Service Line Management, and management of suppliers to the project to ensure on site personnel and service lines receive the necessary support and coordination required to execute the project efficiently.
· Financial
o Monitors area financial performance including compliance to cost center budget, personnel utilization, pricing, customer invoicing and collections.
o Identifies opportunities for improvement and guides team when corrections or improvements are needed.
o Prepares monthly reports in a timely manner. Ensure that all monthly financials are accurate.
o Prepares annual budget for region review, ensure that area meets or exceeds plan, controls, or forecasts monthly budget variances, and ensures timey collection.
· Assist Human Resources and line management by:
· Conducting Performance Appraisals in conjunction with:
o Direct Line Supervision:
o Working with supervisors to contribute to appraisal of team leads; and
o Working with team leads to contribute to appraisal of Operators/Servicepersons/Technicians.
· Assist recruitment of personnel for key positions
· Assist with the administration of QHSE and Training Modules:
· Ensure training provides the basic induction package to employees.
· Assist in computer-based training per position being executed through access to a computer for Employees in the Workshop or On Site.
