OUT Maine is seeking a Finance and Operations Coordinator with nonprofit accounting experience and a social justice mission-driven focus to play a key role in making a difference in the lives of Maine’s LGBTQ+ youth by managing the day-to-day aspects of finances, HR, and office operations. This new position will work closely with the Executive Director, Development and Communications Coordinator, and Program Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth organizational operations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, including the operation of a standard keyboard, reach with hands and arms, and see and hear. Specific vision abilities of the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
This position is full-time based in Rockland, Maine. Some travel around the state may be required, as well as some evening and weekend hours scheduled in advance. Must be able to pass criminal background, child protective services, and sex offender checks successfully, and have a good driving record.
Salary $40,000 – $45,000 based on experience. Three weeks paid vacation and two weeks of sick leave; 14 paid holidays; 100% employee health insurance; short-term disability; retirement contribution match. Dental and accident insurance are available as a payroll deduction.
