Marketing Copywriter
Reports To: Senior Director of Operations
Job Overview: We are a fast paced, rapidly growing company, with a professionally casual work environment dedicated to the direct sales industry.
We are looking for an experienced marketing copywriter who is comfortable and confident in their writing and can write compelling marketing & sales copy for various marketing materials for a variety of products.
Project types include marketing websites, press releases, promotional materials, articles, technical copy, social media posts, blog posts, video scripts, and more.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Take ownership of copy briefs and answer them to a very high standard
· Be forward thinking in your copy and aware of industry trends
· Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devise strategies to achieve them
· Create persuasive & creative sales messages for various marketing materials
· Check all copy generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary
· Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
· Meet deadlines
Qualifications:
· Significant experience in professional, marketing & sales writing
· A strong record in creating immaculate copy that stands out from the crowd
· The ability to plan and strategize high-profile projects
· A persuasive and confident approach to creativity
· Excellent communication skills
· Copywriting, editing, proofreading materials for web, social, collateral, publications online or off.
· Work with our creatives to ensure coherent and cohesive written and visual messages.
· Work in print-production work flow to ensure we meet deadlines.
· Copy-writing – operate as a hands-on contributor as needed, with a focus on crafting content, editing, and publishing new/revised materials
· Maintain brand style standards – ensure consistency between print, offline, and online marketing campaigns and overall marketing strategy
· Miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales, office and marketing-related objectives
· A keen attention to detail
· Familiarity with creative processes and techniques – including digital media
· Candidates with previous direct sales experience preferred
