About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the financial management activities for their CIO partners, including oversight and reporting of overall financials and headcount, and articulating financial drivers and strategy to senior management. This role will require the ability to influence/partner and drive transformational change to the financial environment and underlying processes across the entire Technology organization.
In this role you will:
Strategically partner with CIO Leadership team to interpret and advise on all financial analysis and reporting of key financial metrics related to business performance, including operating and strategic reviews
Partner with financial and technical peers to identify and implement continuous process improvement and efficiency opportunities within the organization by challenging the status quo, eliminating redundant processes, and streaming deliverables
Maintain and continually enhance vendor management process across multiple systems with multiple functional partners, ensuring strong financial discipline and proactive identification of opportunities to rationalize
Identify opportunities to improve methodologies and processes for delivering complex financial analysis in support of management decision-making for technology leadership
Provides technical interpretation on various financial matters and is a key change agent in building/adopting best practices within the functional area.
Recognize issues, discuss, respond, and provide feedback and pushback to senior management on expenses, contracts, projects, strategies, costing Models and allocations
The CTO Tech Finance team has multiple openings available that will focus on FP&A and direct partnership and data analysis support for the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leader relative to forecasting, budgeting, and investment portfolio.
This position will require onsite presence in a hybrid arrangement at one of the following locations: Phoenix, AZ; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; and St Louis, MO. Relocation is not available for this position.

3+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
1+ years of Apptio user experience
Agile experience
Experience developing well-defined plans for problem resolution from preliminary or ambiguous information
Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
Robust analytical skills including strategically analyzing & translating data, diagnosing risks and opportunities, and providing interventions
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material with technology leaders, stakeholders and business partners.
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
