Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Internal Audit leadership team in performing an enterprise-wide annual risk assessment resulting in the development of an annual audit plan;
Assist in development and execution of strategy for use of data analytics and collaboration with Internal Audit team members and stakeholders;
Analyze business and audit risks related to financial processes and systems;
Implement and execute the annual audit plan;
Act as a department resource for business process knowledge or subject matter expertise;
Analyze business and audit risks related to financial processes and systems with limited guidance;
Lead multiple audits/projects concurrently;
Perform a broad range of internal audit activity to include developing audit programs, generating work papers for assigned functions;
Assess business unit compliance with Sarbanes Oxley;
Assist in managing interaction with external independent auditors, co-sourced audit functions and special projects requiring outside consultants;
Prepare audit and consultative reports to include clear and concise findings and recommendations for corrections/improvements that require minimal editing;
Manage staff professional development program. Assist in developing and executing professional development strategy aligned with accomplishing the annual audit plan;
Assist in preparation of information for presentation to Senior Management and the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance required;
CPA a plus;
MBA, MIS a plus;
Minimum of 7 years’ relevant audit or equivalent finance/operations experience required;
Solid working knowledge of audit planning and documentation software;
Experience with business analytical tools Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau is a plus;
Significant experience required with Microsoft Office products;
The successful candidate will be a dedicated, hard-working and enthusiastic professional, skilled in problem-solving possessing excellent auditing, technical, interpersonal and communication skills, high standards for quality, and the ability to organize, prioritize and manage tasks and work autonomously as needed.
