Getty’s Accounting and FInance department is seeking an experienced Accountant. This role performs a variety of regular and recurring professional accounting functions involving fiscal interpretation and analysis, reconciliations, and review of multiple transactions.

Analyzes accounting transactions and information to summarize current financial position.
• Collects data and performs research on details of transactions. Generates, reviews, analyzes and communicates financial data that reflects actual financial performance against approved budgets. Prepares and presents quantitative and qualitative analysis focusing on variances from budget and prior data.
• Captures, tracks, and reports revenue and expenses; determines appropriate procedures for accounting record preparation, research of transactions and reporting. Oversees, reconciles, and resolves problems relative to complicated accounts.
• Maintains and reviews accounting process controls; recommends and implements any approved modifications.
• Runs and analyzes moderately complex financial reports; prepares basic management information reports.
• Prepare monthly department reclasses.
• Record weekly operating deposits.
• Prepare reconciliations.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries.
• Provide support to other team members, as needed.
• Serves as a resource to other departments/ programs to resolve accounting related issues, as needed.
• May act as a lead and provide direction and training to less experienced accounting staff.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 3-5 years applicable experience
