Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field and five years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EG Salary Minimum $48,421

Position Description
This position supervises post award financial coordinator staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
75%: Recruit, train and supervise finance staff. Manage and monitor the workloads and be responsible for the delegation of duties relevant to the conduct of the post award team. Make hiring recommendations to Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) leadership to ensure adequate coverage for post award management. Conduct regular meetings with staff and faculty to ensure faculty are kept apprised of project status. Assure all relevant policies are enforced. Work with CTU leadership on SOP development/maintenance.
25%: Responsibilities include reviewing financial data for grants, general and university accounts; processing financial transactions; post-award management of sponsored research; monitoring expenditures and account balances; creating monthly financial reports.��
