Job Description:
The JR Product Manager for supporting the Product Manager in all efforts relating to the Product Lifecycle.
This work encompasses supporting the Product Manager in analyzing request/defects that are provided by customers and internal teams and determining:
* what does the change encompass and ensuring that requirements/workflows/design documents are drafted as appropriate,
* what is the priority of the change,
* what are the risks of the change,
* dependencies on other Products, and Roadmap for the changes.
· The JR Product Manager will be the Product Managers representatives in meetings or delegate. The JR Product manager will support the PM in meeting efforts including but limited to taking notes at meetings, following up on action items, ensuring follow-up with appropriate parties after meetings.
· The JR Product Manager will be expected to be able to work with developers, testers, UI lead, and Clinical representatives to develop designs and develop alternatives to resolve issues. The JR Product Manager must be able to facilitate the discussions on behalf of the Product Manager so they can “divide and concur the work.”
· The JR Product Manager may be required to work closely and partner with various departments including Clinical, Operations, Sales, Partner and Marketing. The JR Product Manager may be expected to support/facilitate discussions with Customers, Partners, and Vendors as it relates to Product definition, integration efforts, road mapping and other related topics. The Jr Product Managers will be expected to be familiar with the Agile Scrum Process and server as Scrum Masters for the teams as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support the Production Manager in the following efforts:
· drafting PRDs, updating product roadmaps, assessing of any product changes, updating the backlog as required, updating the user stories as requested, ensuring definition of done is clear for each product change, ensuring updates of product user guides, release notes and other related documentation.
· The JR Product Manger should also be able to fill in for the Product Manager when requested as the Scrum Master and Product Owner roles as outlined by the Agile Scrum Process for their Product Scrum Teams.
· The Jr Product manager should be able to work with the Clinical Team to understand workflows impacted by changes and ensure they are well documented.
· The Jr Product manager should be able to work with the Sales team and Help Desk to understand customer requests thoroughly, ensure the details are well captured in JIRA/Wiki.
· The Jr Product manager should be able to work with the training team to ensure external and internal training of the product is current.
