Benefits Specialist III
Introduction:
The benefits specialist is responsible for supporting the operations and administration of all benefits, wellness and retirement programs, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. Expect high degree of collaboration with the Benefits team to create, implement, test and launch benefit programs.
This role involves interpretation of plan documents, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS and DOL requirements, resolving participant escalations, directing vendors as necessary, reconciliations, problem solving, maintaining accurate business process documents and leverage data, to conduct analysis for solving problems and providing solutions.
Provide support in developing plan and investment design, regulatory compliance, and vendor management in collaboration with the Benefits Manager, and 401k plan fiduciary committee. Creativity is important in this role to solve problems and to improve the administration of the plan and employee experience.
