Position: IT Merger and Acquisitions Finance and Vendor Manager

Position Scope:
Must have :
Financial Management
_ Assist in the budgeting process for IT M&A projec_ts
o Structure budget and identify input sources for all major program elements
o Work with IT M&A stakeholders to align on initial budget estimates
o Compare budget drafted by technical team against prior budgets to confirm completeness of elements
o Confirm reasonableness of budget compared to prior deals by evaluating budget as a percentage of deal size and acquired/divested entity revenue
o Map budgets to primary vendors and align with client on contingency amounts
o Prepare presentations highlighting key budget information for program approvals
_ Review and validate monthly accruals and cost reclassification reports prepared by team members_
_ Review, validate, and present twice-monthly forecast reports for IT M&A leadership and monthly outlooks for accounting_
o Meet frequently with IT M&A leadership to solicit project updates and forecast inputs
_ Review, validate, and present monthly financial performance reports for IT M&A leadership showing actual cost and revenue against plan and monthly IT M&A Profit and Loss_
o Meet frequently with IT M&A leadership to review actual project performance and outlook
o Identify potential billing discrepancies from major suppliers and raise issues with client and vendor
_ Liaise with project leadership to identify, quantify, and track synergies and impacts on run and maintain budgets associated with acquisitions and divestitures_
_ Support client in answering questions on accruals and reclasses asked by internal or external audit_
_ Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting on a monthly basis_
Vendor Management
_ Interact directly with vendors to assist client in negotiating work orders on an as needed basis_
Interact directly with vendors to solve invoicing disputes and discrepancies
Review purchasing requests for validity against approved budgets and work with IT M&A leadership to refine and optimize quotes to fit within the budget
Propose sourcing strategies to optimize team leverage across projects and minimize costs
Required Skills:
_ Executive presence and experience working with director and VP-level IT executives_
Understanding of SAP-centric Merger and Acquisition application projects and key cost drivers
Understanding of site integration and separation projects associated with acquisition and divestitures and key cost drivers
Financial modeling including accounting treatments (CPA qualifications not required)
Understanding of accruals, reversals, reclasses and actual
Basic understanding of reporting in SAP and legal entity and cost center structures
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other office communications
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in IT financial management, project management, and/or project governance with at least 3 of those years associated with SAP-centric projects or IT M&A
