Williams Lea is hiring for a Hybrid Accounts Payable Clerk for our Columbus or Wheeling Offices to work Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm!
Pay: $17.00/hour

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst supports the U.S. Accounts Payable function, whose responsibility is to manage the U.S. cash disbursements cycle.
Key responsibilities of the role include vendor invoice processing, maintaining Firm records, resolving problems, providing customer service to Firm personnel and assisting with departmental processes and initiatives.
The role requires strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as excellence, detail and team mindsets.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as a steward of the Firms funds; upholds Firm and departmental policies and standards
- Reviews and ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements
- Researches and resolves inquiries and problems
- Sets up, updates and maintains Firm records
- Analyzes and reconciles Firm, client and vendor data
- Reviews and posts system batches and data imports
- Assists in execution of payments to vendors
- Assists with departmental processes, projects and upgrades
- Addresses requests from and provides information to other Firm administrative departments
- Assists with maintenance of onsite physical records
- Recommends process and procedural enhancements
- Performs other responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Education/Training/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the role
Professional Experience
- Two years+ in an accounts payable environment strongly preferred
- Experience in legal/professional services preferred
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of accounts payable operations and software strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software required
- Advanced spreadsheet expertise strongly preferred
- Strong writing and grammatical skills required
- Strong knowledge of Aderant and/or Chrome River preferred
